Tech: Finding WiFi MAC address in Windows XP
There doesn't seem to an easy way in the GUI on Windows XP to find the MAC ( or hardware ) address of a wireless network card. There doesn't seem to be a GUI to find the MAC address of a regular network interface either. You can however find the MAC address via the command line tool ipconfig.Goto Start Menu > Run... > command
At the command prompt type: ipconfig /all
Look for the following line under the appropriate interface for your MAC address: Physical Address. . . . . . . . . :
